Open position: Business Developer and Project Leader to Big Science Sweden

On behalf of Chalmers, Chalmers Industriteknik is leading the business in Big Science Sweden in West Sweden. We are now looking for a business developer and project manager who will primarily work with Big Science Sweden. Other assignments may be considered. An important part of the work is to create networks between companies, academia, institutes and research facilities.

Big Science Sweden is working to strengthen Sweden’s participation in technology development and business, related to major research facilities such as CERN, the fusion reactor ITER, the neutron spallation source ESS and the telescopes at ESO.

At the Big Science facilities, large investments are made and they often require new and better technology to enable scientific progress. The focus is on facilities, where Sweden is a member. Big Science Sweden will ensure that Swedish companies, institutes and universities have the expertise and skills to deliver innovative Technology, Services and Products and contribute to the development of the facilities.

We arrange different meeting places and ensure that lasting relationships are created. The work includes identifying suitable companies and competencies within universities and institutes that match the research facilities’ need for technology, components and systems, as well as building collaborations and helping companies to do business and win procurement. We work together with our colleagues in Big Science Sweden all over Sweden. We are a great team that has complementary roles and skills.
