Joakim has previously worked as a software developer in industry, both in a consulting role and at product companies. The area has, among other things, been built-in systems. He also has a background in chemistry and received his PhD in physical chemistry in 2015. The work concerned the development of biosensors, based on electrochemical detection and enzymes, for the detection of the release of neutrotransmitters in tissue. Since he started at Chalmers Industrial Technology in 2018, he has worked with helping companies with the development of software and algorithms.
