Industrial & Urban Symbiosis
The project “Resource-efficient and inclusive municipalities through industrial symbiosis” aims to create a sustainable and climate-neutral society through collaboration and resource sharing between companies and organisations.

The goal of the project is to identify and establish symbiosis opportunities between companies/activities and to build a long-term organisation for symbiosis collaboration in the municipalities of Bengtsfors, Lysekil and Vänersborg.

Project partners and financiers
The project is owned by Fyrbodals kommunalförbund and Chalmers Industriteknik contributes with expert knowledge and methods for the development of industrial symbiosis. The project is funded by the Swedish Research Council FORMAS. The project runs between December 2022 and May 2024.
