Yashar’s research focuses on entrepreneurship practice methods, sustainability in entrepreneurship and innovation education, and the role of new technologies in organising around societal challenges. Mainly in ENHANCE+. He offers knowledge in Horizon2020, Erasmus+, user research, entrepreneurship methods and innovation theories.
Yashar’s doctoral thesis was on the role of entrepreneurial methods in driving entrepreneurship. He defended his thesis at the end of 2017. Since then, he has worked in a startup and a medium-sized company, advising and coaching entrepreneurs in Europe and Asia, and started a technology company. Since 2021, Yashar has worked as a researcher at Chalmers and a lecturer at the University of Bath. Examples of projects he has worked on are ENHANCE, ENHANCE(ria), Blockpool EU, CO3, BonrGlobal, OpenAccessDAO.
Yashar enjoys coaching others. He wants them to be the ones who change the behaviour of others. This should be done in areas that actually make a difference for a larger number of beneficiaries. He does this through theory and practice in areas such as sustainability and innovation.
