Alann André

Project manager, PhD

Expertise in

Materials, Composite materials, Structural analysis, Numerical modeling, End-of-Life management of composite structures, Sustainable value chains, Digitalisation

By bridging past achievements with forward-thinking innovation, we can create truly robust and sustainable solutions.

Alann is an expert in composite materials and structural analysis, with a particular focus on the sustainable management of end-of-life composite structures. His work includes repurposing, digitalisation, and circular solutions, especially within the wind energy sector. He is also involved in developing new solutions for energy storage.

He has extensive experience leading research projects and securing funding from the EU, Vinnova, and other Swedish funding bodies. Since 2021, Alann has represented Sweden in IEA Wind TCP Task 45, focusing on the recycling of wind turbine blades.

Alann contributes as a materials expert in research projects and supports clients in both direct assignments and funding applications for R&D initiatives.

His areas of expertise include:

  • Composite materials and structural analysis

  • Numerical modelling

  • End-of-life management

  • Sustainable value chains and circular solutions

  • Digitalisation of material flows

Alann holds an engineering degree from France and earned his PhD from Chalmers University of Technology in 2011, where his research focused on the reinforcement of glulam beams with composite materials.
