Carin Eklöf-Österberg

Project Leader, PhD

Expertise in

Materials, Fuel Cell and Battery materials, Big Science, Methods of analysis, Nanotechnology

To learn something new every day is a privilege.

Carin is passionate about finding, developing and highlighting products and applications derived from research that then come to use for both people and the environment. This means helping companies with material development projects such as finding new replacement materials and spreading knowledge about new technology.

Carin defended her dissertation in 2019 at Chalmers in the subject of material science, where she investigated various materials related to fuel cells (electrolyte and hydrogen storage materials). Carin has a master’s degree in technical nanoscience. During her ex-job, she researched materials related to batteries. Since her dissertation, Carin has worked at Volvo Cars with finishing systems (catalysts).
