Alexander Malmberg

Alexander is passionate about innovation and sustainability. Two interesting areas are energy storage and energy efficiency, where we through continued development have a great opportunity to influence the future environment both on a local and global level. Alexander works with energy and indoor climate in buildings. In the work, this means, among other things, producing studies that accelerate the transition to a more sustainable construction sector.

Alexander has a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a master’s degree in Sustainable Energy Systems from Chalmers. The master thesis investigated the possibility of recharging a borehole thermal storage with low-temperature solar collectors.

Alexander has previously worked at AFRY, (formerly ÅF) as an energy coordinator and assignment leader in sustainable buildings. The projects usually required some environmental certification, where in the role of the energy coordinator is to produce application documents and to ensure that all disciplines are informed of the requirements.
