Kerstin is a civil engineer in biotechnology with a doctorate in chemical engineering from Chalmers University of Technology. She has many years of experience in research and project management from academia (Chalmers, Friedrich Schiller Universität) and research institutes (Swerea, RISE Research Institutes of Sweden). The projects have mainly focused on the development of bio-based or recycled/circular materials, e.g., in textiles, nonwovens, carbon fibers and medtech.
