Project Leader, PhD

Expertise in

Energy, Built Environment, Energy innovation for the built environment, Solar PV, Client capability

In addition to the need for the development of new technologies and innovations, actors in the society needs to join forces across industries to accelerate the energy transition in buildings.

Charlotta works with strategic advisory and investigations into energy concepts and the implementation of energy innovations in the built environment, targeting government bodies as well as public and private sector actors. This includes advisory services on the energy transition, support for project applications to national and international funding bodies, project management, and the implementation of innovations, as well as client support for solar energy projects. She also delivers lectures to build knowledge. Charlotta is driven by sustainable development, particularly from a client perspective.

Since earning her MSc in Energy Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark in 2002, Charlotta has worked on the development and implementation of energy-efficient systems in buildings. She has experience in solar thermal systems, the design of solar power installations, and client support in construction projects. She has also served as an expert and coordinator of stakeholder networks for the Swedish Energy Agency, focusing on the small-scale housing sector and multi-family property owners. Currently, she is an adjunct lecturer at Halmstad University, where she teaches solar technology and conducts research in construction management. In May 2024, Charlotta earned her PhD in Innovation Science, specialising in the client role in implementing energy innovations in the construction industry.
