We are working for a cooler tomorrow

More efficient energy use brings environmental and economic benefits

Meeting our shared sustainability goals and climate challenges requires a transformation of the energy system, but also how to store energy. We work both broadly and in depth on energy efficiency and climate change adaptation in industry, buildings and society at large. New technologies, processes, energy types, heating methods but also how to store energy are developed. But how do we know which investment will be most profitable and bring the most benefits? In particular, our subsidiary CIT Renergy (link when I have one) has many years of practical experience and broad expertise in energy efficiency in both buildings and industry. We combine detailed technical knowledge with an overall energy system perspective. Together with our customers, we create energy-, environment- and cost-efficient solutions.

We have chosen to focus on five areas of expertise within Energy.

We help authorities, industry organizations, and companies within the construction and property sectors with energy and climate related projects regarding the built environment.
We help municipalities, regions, energy companies, and other organisations to develop and achieve their energy and climate goals. We also contribute to the authorities’ development of policies and knowledge support on a national level as well as participate in research-related projects.
With unique competencies, experience and scientific methods we produce qualified decision-making support and contribute with knowledge for efficient and sustainable industrial energy and resource use.
We help governmental authorities, suppliers, and companies to specify distinct and relevant requirements for the quality of the indoor climate.
Energy storage is a key component of a sustainable energy system as it allows for the efficient use of renewable energy sources and can help to mitigate the effects of power grid instability.
